Stowford Farm Meadows is an award-winning holiday park in North Devon. The family behind Stowford Leisure Ltd were part of the family who originally established Stowford Farm Meadows in 1978.

In October 2020, Stowford Farm Meadows underwent a transfer of ownership so are no longer owned by the original founding family; however part of that family are still nearby as Stowford Leisure Ltd, (Stowford Caravan Centre), has remained operating on the holiday park to support its’ many touring customers.

Over the years, Stowford Farm Meadows has developed into a family holiday destination that is now recognised as one of the best in the UK. A mile from the nearest main road along its’ own private drive, Stowford Farm Meadows’ touring caravan site is set amongst 500 acres of rolling North Devon countryside and mature woodland.

The touring caravan and camping site is a safe environment for your perfect family holiday and is ideally located to explore everything that North Devon has to offer. The natural features of the original family farm have been maintained with each of the five touring meadows being surrounded by Devon banks and hedging. Traditional grass, hardstanding and all-weather pitches all benefit from electric hook-up and are generous in size. Each camping meadow has its own spacious amenity block providing free hot showers.

Caravan Storage & Seasonal Pitches

In addition to the touring caravan and camp site facilities, Stowford’s secure caravan storage in our Gold Award winning CaSSOA storage facility is the perfect solution for customers who prefer not to tow their caravan or who simply enjoy the convenience that storing your caravan here provides. If you use your caravan on a more regular basis, you may wish to consider the Seasonal Pitches which are always a popular choice. All the Seasonal Pitches are dog friendly too.

There is a licensed well-stocked shop with ATM on site and they can offer a choice of two bars (with evening entertainment in peak season) and a licensed restaurant with event nights including hog roast and barbecues. As a family friendly holiday park, there are countless activities that your children will love. Particularly Petorama where they can feed and play with the animals. For the more adventurous, a visit to the purpose built Riding Centre may be on your list of things to do.
